This page explains what personal details we collect, why, and what we do with them.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, email, phone number and delivery address.
• When you join our email list: your email address.
• When you write to us: your name, email and your message.
• When you buy from us in person: if you pay by card at a market or stall, our payment provider Square may create a customer record with your name, card details and, if you ask for a digital receipt, your email or phone number. We use this only to process your payment, send your receipt and, if you’ve agreed, occasional emails about Aliora.

We don’t see or store your card details. Payments are handled securely by our payment provider.

Why we collect it

• To answer your questions.
• To send you occasional emails about Aliora, only if you’ve signed up.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the shop. We never sell or rent your details to anyone. The services this website uses are:

• Vercel hosts this website. Like any web host, it keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses and browser details.
• Square is our payment provider, online and in person. Online, it runs the secure checkout page, takes your payment, and receives the name, email, phone number and delivery address you enter there. In person, it takes card payments and sends any digital receipt you ask for.
• Google Workspace runs our email. Messages and email sign-ups you send us are kept in our mailbox, and our emails to you are sent from it.
• Australia Post delivers your order. It receives your name and delivery address, and may receive your email or phone number so it can send you tracking updates.

Some of these services may store information outside Australia.

Cookies

This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and it sets no cookies of its own. Your cart is remembered in your own browser, on your device, so it’s still there if you come back later. We don’t see it until you check out.

When you check out, you move to Square’s secure payment page, and Square may use its own cookies there to process your payment safely.

Emails

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we’ll stop straight away.

Your choices

You can ask us what details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Just contact us at susan@aliora.au or through our Contact page.

Keeping it safe

We keep your details only as long as we need them, and we take reasonable care to keep them secure.
